Topic: Microsoft Exchange 2010 Benefits for Law Firms
Description: The current version of Microsoft's enterprise messaging platform offers many benefits specific to law firms. A native e-mail archiving platform, discovery and compliance features, improved and simplified high availability and disaster recovery capabilities, and an additional reduction in the I/O requirements make Exchange 2010 an attractive, better-performing messaging platform. These exciting changes make Exchange 2010 a robust and flexible option for firms of all sizes but will require very careful planning to ensure a successful deployment and seamless transition. We will help you understand the specifics of these new features and maximize your investment in Microsoft Exchange.
Presenters:
Joe Hoegler is a Solution Architect in the New York office of Kraft & Kennedy, Inc. and a Solution Lead in the firm's Infrastructure and Enterprise Systems Practice Group. He provides technical leadership and strategic guidance on engagements involving a broad range of law firm technologies, such as messaging systems, virtual infrastructure, unified communications, network infrastructure and security.
Theodore A. Glutz is a Regional Director, joining Kraft Kennedy in 2001 after serving as a Legal Administrator for 20 years and Chief, Legal Technology Manager for the largest body of attorneys in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, U.S. Army. His numerous years of experience working with lawyers and their business processes, extensive leadership training and experience both prior to and since joining Kraft Kennedy, have driven his success in building rock-solid teams and managing many successful implementation, upgrade and conversion projects.
If you have colleagues in other firms or others within your own firm who share your interest in this topic, please invite them to attend with you. Nonmembers are always welcome at our events, and we're hopeful they'll learn a little bit about ILTA from the experience. There is no cost to attend, and there is much to be gained. Tell a friend about the ILTA meeting!
